About Haji Naji memorial trust

Late Allama Haji Ghulam Ali Haji Ismail (Haji Naji Saheb)

Haji Naji Saheb was born on 28 Safar Hijri 1279 in Mumbai. His father's name was Ismailbhai Rahimbhai. His mother's name was Jenabai.

Haji Ghulam Ali Saheb received his primary religious education from Mulla Qadir Hussain Saheb in a humble manner. Haji Naji Saheb did not limit himself only to religious writings, sermons, lectures, meetings and pulpits. Rather, he also declared his proven achievements and determination in social and welfare works and activities. In Samvat 1983, he established a boarding school with five children at Bhavnagar. To keep this service of his alive, the Haji Naji Memorial Trust has established a boarding school. Which is at the peak of success today. Currently, fifty children are benefiting from it.

To immortalize the literary services of Haji Naji Saheb, his grandson Haji Mohsin Ali Bhai Kavsari came to Bhavnagar on the 50th anniversary of his death. Mr. Haji Mohsin Bhai has given permission to the Haji Naji Memorial Trust to reprint and publish the books of Haji Naji Saheb.

Haji Naji Saheb started the propagation of the religion at a time when people were stuck in the darkness of ignorance, shackled by superstition, superstition and customs. The boat of the nation was swaying in the mud, missing the right direction far from the shore. Then, by facing disputes, opposition, obstacles, as well as many crises, disasters and difficulties with patience, certainty and high faith, he saved us from the stormy storms of falsehood, took the lamp of guidance in his hand and showed our people the path to salvation in its light.

The founder of ‘Rahenjat’, Allama Haji Ghulam Ali Sahib, has edited and published more than 350 religious books in Gujarati language. It is difficult to find a match for it. In addition to thoughtful and philosophical books such as ‘Quran-e-Sharif-ni-Tafseer’, ‘Me’rajussa’adh’, ‘Nahjul Balagah’, ‘Majmu’o’, ‘Zadussalehin’, Aaim-e-Maasumiin ‘alayhemus-salam’s ‘Savaneh-e-Umri’, ‘Majliso’ and ‘Doa’on books, he has selected them from Arabic and Persian books and given them to the Gujarati people who are not familiar with those languages.

You left this mortal world on 8th Zilhijjah 1362 AH in Bhavnagar, leaving your fans weeping. You have been buried in ‘Haji Naji Arambag’ in Bhavnagar. May Allah Almighty grant you a place among Aaim-e-Maasumiin ‘alayhemus-salam’ in the hereafter. Aameen! For more information about Haji Naji Sahib, read the book 'Hakimul Millat' on our website.
